My Story
Have you been told you motivate others and you don’t think you do? Well this book tells how someone else can look at you and what you mean to them even when you don’t think you impact them. I tell the story of a small town southern girl who was taken out of her comfort zone and became a woman who inspired others and was inspired by others, like the woman Naomi of the bible. This book gives us a different view of the story of Naomi in the book of Ruth. It compares my life to Naomi’s. It shows comparisons that may have not been explored before. The book of Ruth is a small book of 4 chapters with only 2574(KJV) words, but spans
several decades of the life of Naomi. So much is packed in that story, and only a portion is unpacked in this book to show how God directs our lives and we as women can be or become someone who inspires other people in our lives. The words spoken to me “You are My Naomi” has impacted my life so much it made me search out Naomi in the book of Ruth. We
do not have to be ICONs to be influencers. We just need to be dedicated to our Creator, God.

Annette Skipper, born in a small town in Alabama, has worked her way through 68 years of life. She attributes her accomplishments to the support of her family.
